We can assist with pet insurance claims, but the level of assistance we can provide depends on your insurance provider. Honeydew Animal Clinic works directly with Medipet and OnePlan, allowing our team to assist with pre-authorisations and claim submissions.

For other pet insurance providers, Honeydew Animal Clinic is generally considered a third party. These insurers may require the pet owner to communicate directly with them, which means the assistance we can provide with pre-authorisations and claims may be limited.

Other Pet Insurance Providers

With other pet insurance providers, the insurer may require the pet owner to communicate directly with them. We will provide the necessary veterinary documentation to assist with your claim where possible, but you remain responsible for submitting and following up on your claim where required.

Please ensure that you understand your policy's coverage, exclusions and waiting periods. Honeydew Animal Clinic cannot accept responsibility for claims that are declined because of insufficient cover, waiting periods or conditions excluded by your policy.

Please ensure that a claim form is signed by the veterinarian after each treatment where required by your insurer.
