Dr. Cliff Meyer completed his training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (T.C.V.M.) through the Chi University in Florida U.S.A

He enjoys being able to bridge the gap between holistic and western medicine while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal. Dr. Meyer is always looking to integrate new treatments and therapies into this practice and believes that continued learning is important for any good Veterinary Acupuncturist

Ancient Art of Healing

Thousands of years of observing the universe, the seasons, the elements and behavioural patterns and how they influence humans and animals, who live within their changing energies, has evolved an art of diagnosing imbalances and diseases in animals and humans.

Yin and Yang (positive and negative) energies that are in all elements of life when in harmony and balance, create happiness and health.  When these energies are imbalanced then diseases in the bodies occur.

Acupuncture is the technique of balancing the body’s energy via channels (meridians) that are through-out the body and bring about balance and health.

Western medicine uses diagnostic modalities of science and western medicine to heal.  Chronic use of such medicine has numerous side effects and imbalances the natural energies of the body.

Combination of Western medicine and Eastern medicine introduces another level of healing of our animal patients.

Through less use of Western medicines and through an increase of internal healing energy from acupuncture, our patients have benefited enormously from this balance in energies resulting in healing without harm.

Chronic illness and chronic pain conditions benefit from this integrated approach with less side effects from the continuous taking of modern Western medicine.

Dr Cliff Meyer has introduced this integrated form of medicine into the Honeydew Animal Clinic where West meets East in Integrative medicine.  We are located at 2 Knoppiesdoring Road, Randpark Ridge.
